Los Angeles Dodgers Heritage Banner

$39.95
The Dodgers, established in the Brooklyn in 1890, were initially known as the Robins. In 1932, with respect to Brooklyn fans who routinely dodged streetcars to get to Ebbets Field, the team name was changed to the Dodgers. The team had success in Brooklyn, winning the 1955 World Series and, most notably, signing Jackie Robinson, the league's first African-American, in 1947. For the 1958 season, the team moved to Los Angeles, but the team's Brooklyn legacy remains intact, with a classic Dodgers wordmark that has gone largely unchanged.
